Ski touring is booming. But hand on heart - who can claim to make rational decisions and act efficiently when a few minutes are essential for survival? This weekend we will train you intensively so that you can concentrate on the essentials when ski touring - having fun and enjoying the ski tour. Our base is the ideally located and excellently served Kreuzeckhaus.

Process:

Day 1:

We meet at the agreed meeting point and take the Kreuzeckbahn up to the Kreuzeck. Once at the top, we first take our superfluous things to the Kreuzeckhaus. Then it's finally time to go. We drive in the direction of the Osterfelderkopf and then away from the secured pistes. Here we start with an introduction to the ski touring and safety equipment. The focus of the action is the intensive training in how to use the often life-saving avalanche transceiver equipment. In addition to searching for an avalanche transceiver, the correct handling of the shovel and probe is particularly important, since in the case of a real burial the time until the avalanche victim is uncovered plays a key role. Finally, at the hut we end this eventful day with an insight into first aid in case of avalanche burial.

Day 2:

Today we want to put what we have learned into practice. So that we don't miss out on having fun, we include a realistic avalanche scenario with an individual slope assessment on our little ski tour. Each participant not only receives objective feedback, but also the avalanche transceiver certificate from the Association of German Mountain and Ski Guides.

We will take care of the reservation at the Kreuzeckhaus for you!

Absolut lehrreicher, informativer Kurs
Wir hatten zwar in der Vergangenheit schon einige Skitouren auf der Piste gemacht, wollten uns jetzt aber einmal für das Gelände abseits der Piste fit machen.
Dafür war der 2-tägige Kurs wirklich perfekt geeignet. Auch wenn es zwei lange Tage waren (mit Unterricht abends) waren sie doch sehr kurzweilig und niemals langweilig.
Ich fühle mich jetzt gerüstet für meine erste Skitour im Gelände. Vielen Dank!
