You don't have to be a skier to experience the fascination of the winter mountains. Thanks to snowshoes and modern avalanche transceivers, the mountain guides of the Garmisch Alpine School also enable every non-skier to experience this incomparable nature. The short half-day tour to the Eckbauer near Garmisch offers an excellent opportunity to get started with snowshoes.
Procedure:
We meet at the ski stadium in Garmisch directly at the Eckbauerbahn and, after a brief introduction to the material, set off straight away. After a good 400 meters in altitude in a beautiful winter landscape, we have reached the top and the Berggasthof Eckbauer at 1236m invites us to a long stop. With a wonderful panoramic view of Garmisch we say goodbye to the small mountain and make our way back down to the valley.
