Our mountaineering week with hotel accommodation in the valley is the perfect choice for all climbers who want to conquer some of the renowned peaks around Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Zugspitze within a week, without sacrificing the comfort of staying overnight in the valley!
Destinations such as the Westliche Karwendelspitze (2385m), the Riffelscharte with the Südliche Riffelspitze (2262m), the famous Alpspitze (2628m), and of course, Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze (2962m), make this week an unforgettable experience. In addition to the tours, you’ll gain a wealth of knowledge from our mountain guides. For example, on the 4th day, there will be a climbing course where all participants will learn how to handle harnesses, ropes, and carabiners. After the ascent of the Alpspitze, participants will have the optional opportunity to paraglide down into the valley—an absolutely unforgettable experience!
To ensure that all participants can recover from the day’s exertions, we’ve chosen a centrally located hotel in Garmisch as our accommodation. The hotel also features an extensive wellness area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after the tours. We have reserved double rooms by default, but if you prefer a single room, that’s no problem. Simply note this in the comments section of your booking. A surcharge of €30.00 per night, totaling €180.00, will be added for single rooms. The hotel is centrally located in Garmisch, only about 200 meters from the train station. Since all transfers during the mountaineering week will be made using public transportation—bus, train, or shuttle (included in the price)—you don’t need a car and can comfortably plan your arrival by train.
So, if you’re ready to push yourself on the mountain during the day, enjoy Garmisch’s ambiance in the evening, and prefer the comfort of a hotel stay, this “comfortable” mountaineering week is the perfect choice! To fully enjoy this week in the mountains around Garmisch and make the most of your experience, you should be physically fit, have some experience with mountain hiking, and have already completed at least one easy via ferrata.
